ABOUT

My name is Lucía Lozano. I started Process2Creative driven by my two passions: making people's lives better and storytelling. I studied Communications with minors in Journalism and Social Development, illustration and graphic design, and fine arts with accomplished artists in Colombia and the U.S. and at the Art Students’ League in New York.

My work experience includes:

  • Film editing of award-winning Yuruparí, a series of anthropological documentaries about Colombian musical and cultural tradition;

  • Key member of the creative team that launched Yoga International magazine, in Pennsylvania;

  • Branding expert and artistic director at Duque & Asociados Advertising, where I was in charge of creative ideation, writing, and designing for advertising campaigns for corporations, nonprofits, and political campaigns, including a Colombian presidential campaign;

  • Editor, creative director, writer, illustrator, and cartoonist for Journal Concorde, Colombia’s French community’s monthly newspaper;

  • Director of Children’s Marketing at TV Cable, leading TV and internet provider in Bogotá. At TV Cable, I created a cartoon character and conceived and implemented marketing strategies to strengthen brand loyalty and increase sales and retention. I also coordinated merchandise production, oversaw website development, and wrote, designed, and illustrated monthly comic strip and children’s magazine.

Upon moving to the U.S. in 2002, I started Process2Creative. My clients include small-to-medium size businesses and nonprofits. Please visit my portfolio for samples of my work.

Aside from my work, I enjoy the company of friends and family, foreign films, Latin dance, doing art and illustrating, walking by the lake or in the woods, gardening, and cooking.
